England triumph in World Cup warm-up

Quins’ Danny Care featured in England’s 23-19 win over Wales on Saturday afternoon at Twickenham.

The Scrum-half featured for just under an hour for England, currently ranked 5 in the world, as they fought off a potential Welsh come-back after taking a 13-7 lead into the half time interval.

Wales will have a chance at revenge this weekend when the fixture is returned at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff, the second of a series of warm-up matches for England ahead of the World Cup next month.
