14 Year Old Boy’s Amazing Half Court Basketball Shot at Guildford Heat
A 14 year old boy from Newhaw wowed the crowds at a Guildford Heat home game on Sunday when he took part in a regular basketball challenge in which two spectators are randomly selected to have one shot each at scoring a basket from the centre of the basketball court.

A new mural named ‘Movement In Steel’ was unveiled today at Surrey Sports Park by Allan Wells MBE. The mural was commissioned by the University of Surrey and created by artist Barnaby Gorton. GB finish third as Game on 2011 concludes
The Standard Life GB women wrapped up the British Basketball Invitational Tournament at Surrey Sports Park with a 67-64 victory against Latvia. Tom Maher's side ensured they finished third in the competition thanks to a strong first half display. In the other final day game Cuba defeated Germany 58-51 to clinch the British Basketball Invitational trophy.
