Iain Robertson - Chairman
Iain is an experienced Chairman, Non-executive Director and Chief Executive of technology businesses. He has extensive international expertise together with substantial experience of both public and venture backed businesses. He graduated from Christ Church, Oxford and began his working life at The Plessey Company Limited where he spent fourteen years. Since then he has held senior executive positions including Director and General Manager for Marconi Quest and Chief Executive of York Group. His Chairman posts have included Fotech Solutions Ltd, Oxsensis Ltd and Intense Photonics Ltd. Mr Robertson also sits on the University's Finance Committee and is Chair of the Commercial Affairs Committee.
Paul Blanchard - Chief Executive
Paul joined Surrey Sports Park as Chief Executive in February 2011. Paul has worked in a variety of leadership roles in sport, most recently as Chief Executive of Harlequins Rugby League. He has held roles as Chief Executive of Hull Kingston Rovers and more locally as Sales and Marketing Director at Surrey County Cricket Club between 2004 and 2008, securing the largest domestic cricket sponsorship deal in Surrey's history.
Greg Melly - Non Executive Director
Greg joined the University of Surrey in October 2002 and is responsible for the University’s Corporate, Operating and Commercial activities in his University role of Director of Corporate Services. He is also responsible for managing the University interests in its spin outs and other companies, including Surrey Sports Park.
Greg has a commercial background and joined from the private sector. He has worked in the banking, electricity, telecommunications and satellite industries in South Africa, UK and mainland Europe. He has a Henley MBA.
